Adolescent Partial Program

Spring Mountain Treatment Centers Partial Hospitalization Program offers an alternative to hospitalization with a less restrictive setting for adolescents ages 12-17.  The goal is to promote optimal functioning in the home, school and community. Those adolescents who would qualify for our program would include individuals with challenges including depression, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, or disruptive, panic or obsessive compulsive disorders.

While in the partial hospitalization program, the patient continues to reside at home, but attends programming 5 days per week at the hospital, during the day.  This program is not intended for those who are acutely suicidal or exhibiting dangerous behaviors.  Supportive, psycho-educational, skill building and activity groups are offered, along with individual and family therapy.  The program is founded on Dialectical Behavior Therapy, which attempts to confront a person’s maladaptive behaviors and coping patterns, while introducing new skills.

Our treatment program focuses on family involvement with family therapy being a core component.  All patients are evaluated by and seen by a board certified psychiatrist.  We provide educational support during the school year, while working with the patient’s current school district to maintain their eligibility within the district.

All calls are confidential.
