Advanced Adult Program

Advanced Adult Program

The Advanced Adult Program helps adults with psychiatric issues that have hindered their capacity to meet important occupational, personal and interpersonal goals.  It is common for adults to experience sadness, moodiness, anxiety and or irritability at times.  When these feelings persist to the point that they interfere with a person’s ability to function normally at home, at work or in social situations, it may be a sign of a mental health disorder.

The Advanced Adult Program is available to treat men and women with  mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse disorders, personality disorders or trauma related disorders.  The ultimate goal of treatment is to stabilize the immediate crisis and maximize the psychosocial capacity of the individual upon returning home.  Interventions are designed to provide patients with practical tools to manage their symptoms and improve their coping abilities in relation to interpersonal skills with family, friends and business relationships.
