ADOLESCENT PARTIAL PROGRAM

Spring Mountain Treatment Center’s Partial Hospitalization Program offers an alternative to hospitalization with a less restrictive setting for adolescents ages 12-17. Where traditional programs focus on deficits, Spring Mountain Treatment Center’s
Partial Hospitalization Program focuses on positive attributes, called Developmental Assets. Each adolescent already possesses a number of individual assets. Our program will address and increase the number and use of these assets.

Studies of more than 2.2 million young people in the United States consistently show that the more assets young people have, the less likely they are to engage in a wide range of high risk behaviors and the more likely they are to thrive. Developmental Assets are 40, common sense, positive experiences and qualities that help influence choices young people make and help them become caring, responsible adults.

Those adolescents who would qualify for our program would include individuals with challenges including depression, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, panic or obsessive compulsive behavior. As well as chemical dependency and substance abuse education.

Our treatment program focuses on family involvement with family therapy being the core component. We also utilize group therapy and individual therapy sessions, as well as
psychopharmacological assessments and reviews. Our goal is to help promote our patients’ optimal functioning in the home, school and community. Family therapy sessions focus on fostering positive communication and mutual understanding, as well as autonomous conflict resolution within the family.
Other therapy sessions are designed to help patients gain insight into their behavioral challenges and provide opportunities for patients to give and receive appropriate and helpful feedback from peers.

Our staff includes a caring team comprised of highly-qualified nurses, therapists, educators and a board-certified psychiatrist. This team’s goal is to provide a structured, nurturing and therapeutic environment to all patients.

Spring Mountain Treatment Centers Partial hospitalization program is open Monday thru Friday. We provide educational support on an as needed basis. Transportation available on a case by case basis.
